DM500 network failed

when i go to scan transponters i get network failed what im i doing wrong

Make sure your cable feed is properly connected and that you are scanning using the correct symbol rate.

6887 - ntl
6952 - tw
6952 - ex-c&w

If you're unsure as to what your area used to be then use the bruteforce option.

cant get to 6952 or others as soon as i say atomatic scan i get network failed

Can you FTP to the box? If so, copy the /var/keys folder to your PC.

Do a factory reset and see if it works then. (Menu > Setup > Expert Setup > Factory Reset)

Then setup your network settings again and copy the /var/keys folder back over.

will try what you have said and get back to you the image i am trying is DS Team 3.5 Image-DM500C if that will be any help as well
