500c not working for ages

I have a Dreambox 500c and im living in Ireland, my provider Ch*rus and it used to work, then about a month ago the channels stopped working

I was giving keys to put on and they worked for a little while but to be honest i didnt know exactly what was going on

Its running evocamd 2.12 on start up, thats all i know

I was given DW_2.0newchor.img to flash on and i did, but done nothin to it i dont think, done a scan and found 200+ channels but all "Service could not be found"

Anyone tell me what the hell im supposed to do?

When you flashed the image did you say NO to flash erase?
you should.

Was going to post this earlier Dan but i though he mightve done that.

Always click No to flash erase.

This is a simple Noob mistake in which i had headaches over for months when i first started giving info on this box.

Yes i done that at first but it made no difference what so ever.

Then applied a different image and pressed yes to flash erase

Everything was alot more up to date looking and even let me connect to the internet to download addons

It found alot of services on a Chorus transponder scan, had 96% SNR ( i think) and AGR about 32-33% , didnt get any "Service could not be found" just black screen on the channel

Am i screwed now over pressing Yes??

I also have the null cable and can still connect to my dreambox

could it not be that your area has changed encryption like a lot have in ireland, and if thats the case then you wont be able to get channels back.

i always clicked YES to flash erase and my box never flickered so doubt that will be your problem.

have you ftp'd roms and keys over?

try dk 1.1 image available to download in downloads section

Well i just started again there

Opened Dreamup and connected the usual way, pressed flash erase twice as i read on here to do so

Then flashed original dreambox software

Then flashed DK 1.1 pressed NO to flash erase, so its flashed as a backup

Then FTP'd keys and roms over used DCC

Restared box and went to Sly sports 2, then restarted EvoCam and Voila, All channels back

Except the FTA Setanta Ireland?

The image I gave you (on another forum) included the roms, but had terrestrial.xml, did you try manually scanning on any freqs? it also had bruteforse scan option so should have worked, this image has worked fine for guy on ntl cable on bruteforse scan! its a backup so say no to flash erase!

Im using DK 1.1 as a backup now and have all the channels back

I have 2 more boxes to do now tho
