Advice Please on Cable

Hi, looking for some advice on which cable box to get, not for me unfortunately, my friends, no cable in my street. I had to go down the sat route and am competent at setting up Linux Sat receivers,


So really what I want to know is which of the patchable Cable receivers are the easiest to set up and require the least user input to keep working? Dunno if it matters but we are in Belfast

are you going through the same changes going on in the south? where as they are going through a nagra change. the kryptview is the only box working fully there at the mo but no one knows how long for. It is in my opinion the easiest of the plug and play boxes out there to set up and operate

No, the North are still on the same nagra encryption. I have a DM500C with DK 1.1 here, works fine
