I would like to know more too, heard rumours that N3 implemented wasnt full fledged. I would like to invest time and money on this STB cryptography stuff as an hobby, would like to gather more info too. We would love to know how the dump was performed.
Once dump obtained, we could also engage expert to d3crypt the RSA/BK.
Dump the hex from the set was the toughest process, not?
Desoldering flash and read BGA firmware via UP-2008 is not everyone's cup of tea..

Agree it a tuf job thats why not many post on this method.
6x and 1x can b jtag,
8x, 458x hv to lift chip for up2008 or xeltek 5000 read. The only problem with me is the decryption. Hard ware is pc of cake.
If u hv try it, it worth every seconds of hard work.
Hope the x u can intepret whats the nbr, I dont want to get into trouble.Comment
