DM800 all channels gone =(

hi guys,

currently have a dm 800hd se and all my channels are gone after my younger bro went to press god knows what on the remote and suddenly all channels are gone. im new to this and have absolutely no idea as im a computer noob. i tried scanning for signals and there are still no channels. help!!!

I think you might want to consider reflashing your box and ftp your keys and scce

Oh no. actually when i bought the box everything was ready. so not sure how to do the mentioned stuff. able to guide me along step by step? sorry if i caused any inconvenience =(

after grilling my bro abit he finally told me what happened! he wanted to update new channels and went in to settings and executed sgsh bouquet updater. is this the cause of it?

1. Press "Up" button to access the channel list.
2. Press "Red" button, select "All" and your list will appear.

Reboot your Dreambox and repeat.
Once the the channel shows, it takes a few secs for the synopsis for the program to be displayed.

The plugin will delete yr existing bouquet and download the new ones but depending on isp, some will not able to download from the server so u need to use dreamboxedit to transfer the channels back.

So meaning i will have to connect my dreambox to my pc and update it? will a normal micro to usb cable do? able to guide me step by step? total noob at this. really really sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Backup yr settings in case yr box failed.
