how to mod image

I have downloaded an Image for a dreambox 500c and would like to know what file I should keep from my old Image to give me the correct provider
settings when scanning for channels. I hope this makes sense.

no andy new image should have all of that you can back up your image before you flash are u using dreamup this has backup facility

You want to backup your keys scce folders & services.

Thanks for your help Lads the Image I have downloaded is for swiss cable.
