From the SG Bouquet XML, the frequency for Disney XD is 394. However, when auto-scanning that frequency, I'm not getting it or any other channels that are on the 394 frequency.
I have a FYHD HDC-800-IV so any advice on this would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
That would depend on your provider and local area. Most providers segment their networks and transmit different frequencies in different locations.
To find the proper frequencies you really need to capture and interpret the NIT tables for your local NetId. On a dreambox a program called dvbsnoop can assist you in this endeaver.

I would have guessed you have a FY box. Problematic box. You wont get that channel. Even you manage to get it, it will drop.

This is the worst box ever... If you have already auto or manual scan 394, you should have it to the channel list but dun expect it to line up the new channel for you.
The new additional channel will be added to the very last page of the list & oso there is no way you can move it forward or to assign a channel number.
The editing function on this box is near zero & you can never self-help yourself other than to scan for new channel.
If you wan the new channel to line up according to lcn, pray hard for new firmware update by the manufacturer.

Anybody owns a Sunray SR4 able to autoscan channels on the 2 new frequencies 394 and 458? Autoscan doesn't find any channels on these 2 frequencies at all.
I'm able to add the channels manually, the EPG works correctly but no image is displayed.

Sr4 is a triple tuner of c/s/t. Make sure u r using the correct tuner.

I'm using the correct tuner. I'm running OpenPLi with the custom satellite configuration to scan cable channels.
Only the 2 new frequencies show no channels, all the others are working fine.

For an updated channels, u can try the e2 bouquet here.
If u want to try sgsh channel update plugin maintained by uu161, u can find it here. Next time if there is a new channel added, run the plugin and the new channels will be added to yr bouquet.http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...gin-sg-286366/
