Adding Sky Box Office Sports to Dreambox using Manual Scan

Checkout the SBOPPV2 and the Live events channel,edit these into your services in the correct loaction and away you go.Time to do some thinking you newbies should be all clear once you open the services and edit.Dont forget to transfer the edited services back to the image and then re-boot,said enough already.

Could you please explain these frequencies a bit further for us newbies and how we put them into our services files. There are a lot of us out there at present desperate to get this latest SBO event.

According to Donnies data above, the information that was always in post #1 is correct and should still work if you follow the steps correctly.

The Live Events Channel data was always there but I've added the SBO PPV2 data as well.

The info on the first page is the same for all ex-tw regions in the UK. The same with the other areas, it's not like the services which differ, that data will work all over the UK.

You won't pick it up with a normal automatic transponder scan, you need to follow the instructions step by step.

I have tried this manaul scan entering all of the four PID settings 5 times now following everything to the letter in your instructions,but it always says there are know new services with 7 transponders scanned. Is there anything I need to do differently. Please help.

Should be just a case of finding/adding the new channels to your bouquets.

Molson are the previews actually being run in your area - could that be the problem. It may have changed but the streams used to be area dependent so for example ex TW might be showing but ex c&w aint at the moment?

Cant understand why you aint picking it up - no one in your area send you a service file that you can flash to your box?

That's a good call,maybe like other posts have said it might be worth trying on the night or day before,I will let you know nearer the time. No one has sent me a service file though for it,but would appreciate it if anyone could.

Live events channel+sboppv2 currently rolling trailers/splash screen for khan fight 06th september.

There is a problem with this. I am ex-C&W London. My dreambox found the Live Events channel with the general auto scan and it is showing splash screen, but it doesn't find the actual PPV channel, and it doesn't find it with the settings shown at the start of the thread either. However, i looked at the info section on my box for the Live Events Channel and it did have exactly the same info as at the start of this thread for C&W Live Events Channel. So from that i assume that it isn't the actual ID's that are wrong but the frequency or having somethin ticked we shouldn't???? Otherwise surely it would find the Live Events Channel again when i scan for it using the details here, but it doesn't.

yes I totally agree I have done the same but again nothing happens. Is it the frequency that could be wrong. The SBO events are now apparently showing trailers but after all the manual inputs we still do not not get the the channel?

You can enter them by remote control, using the Tuxbox commander, and locating /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/
and editing the userbouquet file for which ever bouquet you want to put them in.

or you can Open your FTP programme and copy and paste them to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/
userbouquet ( again whichever one you want to add the extra channels ) Right click/edit to paste them to whatever userbouquet
