How often do I upate my box?

Can some one kindly explain how often my dreambox 500c needs to be updated and is this for all areas or just certain ones?

My way is if it works 100% leave it on.

DW2.0 is probably the best at the mo. so i would stay with that, you will read all about future stuff on here, so you will be able to make your own mind up.

How many post before I can download what I need?

I cant seem to be able to get image to update to because I am a new member. So will have to wait till site allows me to get stuff i need. Box I have used to work in early April when I got it but then stopped. Seems fom what I have read on this site I want a dw2 image?

Also your box will have an old image on, one that dont update anymore. Only recently have the new images got round this, you will soon be able to get yours sorted, plenty peeps here to help out.

5 decent posts mate is all we ask on here to be able to download, and remember the site needs time to update things, so might not get downloads right after 5th post, might have to wait a few mins.

Mate if only that were true. My box dont work any more so I need to fix it. Im new so Im learning what I can but it aint that easy for a newbie that for sure. Graet site though to lean on. Thanks for the advice though.
