shared folder

Hi, how do i set up a shared folder on vista?, im trying to set up recording from dreambox, its connected ok etc. couldnt see anything in the stickys.^^

I refuse to use Vista but I'd imagine you'd use the same settings as XP.

Maybe change your network adapter to use IPv4 instead of IPv6.

On the PC, all you do is make sure the folder is shared. And be logged in as an administrator and enter the admin account username and password in the mount settings.

I use vista. As long as you enter the correct path on your dreambox and make sure the folder is shared then you should have no problem sharing/mounting it.

cheers DF, one other thing,, when i press the green button (mount) i get the following displayed

"CIFS mount '192.168.#.#/Recorded TV/hdd/movie' FAILED!
