    Box

New to this forum, only ever had freeview before but friends always go on about a "dreambox" or "starbox" that they have. After searching the internet for a few hours I really still don't understand what these are? what is the advantage in having them? Is it because you get all satellite channels free?

welcome to dk dan, the starview, kryptview, eurovox, digivox are all cable boxes, they work on cable so what ever the cable company stream thats what you'll get. the dreambox does both a c or an s version so you could have either

          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

thank you for your help. I only have the old analog cable, but as of 1st june they are making me go digital. So can't really afford it but would like the sports channels etc still. How would I go about this? What is the best way to do it? thank you
