    DM500 New booster not channels

I got a new booster JMA From ebay. Do I have to scan the channels again?

I get some of them most of them but are breaking signaling between 80-90%. Any ideas? I have sey up as
    Wall-Spiltter<Internet and Booster-Box

You need to put the booster before or after the splitter this will increase the signal to your box.

I put it before the booster cos I have internet cable as well and there is no signal to my modem.

I put the booster after the splitter.

I have two cables output one Dreambox and one internet modem.

Try it before the splitter and see what happens as that is how mine is and i have 3 boxes plus modem. I found that before the splitter works best..

But it should still work after the splitter unless you have a really poor signal. Try it without splitter straight to your box an see how it works.

Ok the new booster works downstairs fine. I swapped it with the yellow one KIONG (was downstairs) I get almost 91% but still breaking up

You need to fiddle with the booster until you get the signal just right. If you have a lot on the feed then you might have to get a more powerful booster but if you have one d/stairs then the signal might be too strong has that is as bad has a weak signal. So just try it with one booster.

I can get 92-94% but the picture still breaking up even the bottom of the picture. Which do we turn on the booster GC or SC?

The gc is gain is for the level of boost, and sc is the slope that equals out the boost at different frequencies, as some can get "over boosted"

                    You need to turn gc.

Does the BER need to be 0? I have a cable of 2 meters from Booster to box could that be the problem? I just want the bloody thing to work I've tried turning gc down and up.

                      My Readings i get is:
                      SNR: 88-94%
                      AGC: 43,44%
                      BER: Random

Anyone assistance me please? I got it working before my old booster died on me. No TV for me i guess. I got the signal just right but picture keeps breaking up. It goes fine when i start it up then it breaks up again.
