Yes i would,, but to be totally honust i wouldnt even worry about moding a cam or trying to get one to work untill you can dump the A05, you get more than the important opKeys from the dump,, of which you will need when and if they send some fun updates in EMM's..
dvbsnoop will get you ECM and EMM raw dumps using evocamd or such, you should be able to process at least the ECM before worrying about how you can mod a cam to do it.. bottom line is none of the usual cams have irelands provider id as 1801/1802 and none of them support for the little control word trickery there using.

The last time i tried getting dumps off a dreambox all i could get was the 1800 couldn't figure out how to get 1801 or 1802 to dump.

I did manage to get dumps for 1801 & 1802 using a dvb card in a PC & Vplug but as you say we need a card dump for those buggers. Or is there anything I can do with these dumps?

you have the ecms then required, but as you said next is the card dump to see what happens to the ECM

debated with myself about bringing this thread alive again, but thought i would just show you exactly what 'thedoc' here tried, this is a copy of the SoftCam.Key he obviously didnt even look at before deceiding it was the fix for ireland.
