    Some Distorted Channels in DM800HDSE

    Dear Gurus,
Recently, i am having problems viewing some HD channels such as channel 655 and 155. Is there anything wrong with my tuner or am i suffering from signal leakage?

    Pl advise.

    Thanks.

Ive sorted it out. The signal strength for most channels are around 93-95%. The distorted channels gave a strength signal of about 75%-76%. So i thought it is my Phillips Tuner and was looking around to change it to the Rev M tuner when suddenly I realised I was using a splitter at my TV point. I removed the splitter and my signal strength for the distorted channels boosted to around 87%.

Problem Solved. No more glitches. Lesson to be learnt, do no use a splitter.

you can use a splitter provided you have a signal booster

Recently, I have a few channels distorted and I decided to replace my splitter and the signal cable to SH quality one as I have been using my existing splitter and cable for 20 years. After changing all these, channels went back to normal.

Actually 1 channel is distorted is not really a big issue unless you only like to watch that channel. You decide whether its worth it to spend the money.
