Hi guys,
I bought the DM500C online.... Connected all the necessary connection... But when it try to scan, message appear... Stating the..."the tresponder... Lock.... Etc.... ".... So I decided to do factory reset but to no avail.....
So I read up and subscribe to this website.... Saw one link stated require user to flash new software ... So I downloaded the v1.1 DK from one of the post... Previously my software was the v1.0.9 estim something...
How I transfer the is via ftp.... Downloaded the file- transfer to tmp/ via ftp- manual update via dreambox - look for the file - rename it as the message mentioned something like rename the file to one of the extention - then press ok....
After loading get the DK image appear.... The worst part is, it keeps flashing the DK image... I believe it keeps rebooting... As I tried to access via ftp I can't... But when the logo appear I'm able to access... When flash the logo disappear i cant access the ftp anymore... Try several times but the same thing happen, even on telnet... I thought of deleting the new file and reboot... But can't...
So I hope the expect here could give me a help to my problem... Not sure whether should I flash a new img using null cable or I have damage and spoil the whole entire software..
