    DM500 Clone gemini image that wont work

    gemini kill itself

      can you edit the files on the box your copying the image off ?
      does it have tuxbox commander installed or can you download it ?
      Can you ftp into the box your copying the image off?

              i am able to ftp into another dreambox which have the working gemini that auto updated which i backup from.


              when i flash the image into my dreambox, it just reboot up and restart and will just hang there... i tried to plug out the supply and plug in , nothing shown.

                      simple solution.......DONT USE GEMINI.

                      there is plenty of other BETTER images out there that DONT KILL your box.

                      gemini images are nothing special and IMHO nabilosat images wipe the floor with them

                          It's not the image that's killing his box it's a modified image that checks the mac address to see if it belongs to a trader who dosen't want everybody copying it.

                              so theorecticly the image is still killing his box, so why not just change it using dreamup??
