DM500 Need help with a dreambox DM500C

Hi, I need some advice how to program a Dreambox DM500C to watch tv. I understand you can use this box with an antena to watch TV. Is it true? Need help getting this box up and showing. Thanks.

Isnt it so that if your DM500c is in Standby (assuming that you connected the terrestrial TV Antenna correctly with the box and from the box to TV) the only thing you get is a Normal TV channels, no cable channels.... ?

Im not really sure what are you pointing at exactly, could you explain it more thoroughly please?

I brought this dreambox dm500c to get tv when the system change to dtv on june 12, 2009 (in the USA). I was told by a friend a dreambox dm 500c was good for the job. I purchase one, hook it to my antena and nothing happens, I can not see any tv. I need help with this programming this dreambox.

Dm500c is for cable only, need 500T for terrestrial (DVB-T) used on mmds system, if you are trying to hook up to a standard UHF/VHF ariel - don't think you will have much luck!!

Sell it online or offer it .
I think you need a converter box for the usa as they are going to use a different system than dvb.
