Look to upgrade from DM500c to DM600c, need advise

I?m thinking about upgrading to a DM600c from my DM500c. My understanding is that the DM600c can record if you install a laptop hard drive, is the correct and what else is different from the DM500c. Also can I just use a mirror image off my DM500c for the DM600c?

yep you can record with it and no you cant use mirror image from your 500 youll need to instal another image

you could use pli image or nabilosat ones its really up to you

I use the pli jade. its stop on and does a great job. check the download section. i use an older version of this:

Just flash it to the DM600 with dreamup and null modem cable and scan.

yes you can as long as you put in a 2.5 hdd it also will pause live tv

what image manages to pause live tv on the 600? I use the Iolite and it doesn't, have they got it working with the new Jade2?
