    DM501C and DM800HD SE Help PLEASE......

    Hi,

    I am pretty sure of what to do to flash my box and update the broquet.
    But my box do not have a screen in front to show the IP address
    So how do i know what is the IP address for the box connected to the router??

    i think you have not explore your box enough
    Maybe you should look through all the contents inside your MENU

      Hi Bomchacha,

      Thanks for the advice.
      I have looked through the menu but there is no network setting but there is a upgrade function.

      And also.... i have a Lystar 2012 box, any idea if i can use dreambox software on it?

        If u r posting abt the DM501C, it is not DreamBox, there is no help here. If DM800CHD oso dont hv a front screen, it is oso not a DreamBox.

          Which box are u referring at? dm501c or dm800se? If dm800se does not have a small oled screen in front, then i doubt u have the correct box.

            Hi,

            I have both boxes as well as a LYSTAR 2012.
            Im pretty sure LYSTAR is not dreambox but the DM501C and DM800HD SE has the wording dream media in front.
            If they are not dreambox, any help to find out what they are?

              Does it have a lan port for yr dm800se? Maybe could post the pics of yr box.

                            @netaccess Another method to check the IP address of your box, you can login to the admin page of your router and list all devices connected to the router. You shd be able to find the IP address in that page.
