Help!!! Bought wrong box!!!

I have got a box from friend to help install dk image but I found that its DM500S instead DM500C. Problem is we do not have satellites receivers.

I have read other threads that there is no direct way of converting S to C except to desolder the S tuner and resolder a C tuner.

Any ideas for easy conversion?

if no, I would like to know what is the model and specifications of the C tuner?

Any form of help and advice will be appreciated.

it would be easier to sell it and buy another box... that way you will not incurr the cost of a new receiver or have to do any soldering and risk killing it etc... you could sell it for close to the same price a new C box and then buy one new etc... It would be a lot less hassle anyway..

Like cavernan, sold this one and will buy a C one for the same price or a little difference.

Too much job to change the tuner.
