Issues with dm500c V

Hi people, have a set which I bought but have not used for over 9 months. Set now always has the red light on. It does boot to the transformer page and then displays no signal. Was told to do a quick scan.. As st**h** may have reset the signal.. But as I am scanning. It shows no signal for each of the channels. Told my supplier and recommended I change to a new set. Repairing costs 80 bucks.. I was recommended to this site. So i would love to repair it myself

Anyone has similar situation.?

Red light always on. Till I pass the transformer.. And says no signal. Is it just some keys I need to key in? Anyone can pm me. Or I have to open set up and be an electrical engineerin. Any help would be grateful

Any luck that anyone has encountered similar issues. or i have to then heed the advice of supplier to ship in a chip and for double the price of the chip i could then get a new set? Or does anyone have a clue what might be the problem and i do not mind trying to rectify it myself with guidance...
