DM600C PVR

Hi I have in the past had the pleasure of using the DM 500C both real and clones without much problem tastey little boxes

I am now looking at buying a 600c for ?119 (nice price Ithink??)
and since the cable sections on most forums have gone down due to "recent events" I am at a loss as to what image I should put on it for the opposite to "whore tv"?? can I simply use the dw2.01 image for the 500c or should I be looking in another direction?
Not sure if this is the right place to post but saw another thread on 500C that Devilfish had replied to so thought I'd try my look!!!

Thanks for the fast response smirnoff thought I might find one on the bigmaq toolbar but only 500c's on there who do you think is best to approach??

Been using the Gemini Project images to reasonable effect with the DM600 PVR. Nothing really to complain about.

Most of the big images are created for satellite, you need to modify it to work on cable, i.e. add a cables.xml file for uk scanning, keys and emu.

Specifically? Gemini Project 4.30 for the DM600. Officially the images are available here:

Once I've flashed I do a brute force scan with the correct symbol rate followed by an evocamd and mgcamd installation using Gemini's auto update functionality (with my own server). Finally, I drop in my backed up keys directory with the Nagra ROMs, key listing and cam configuration.

Four step process that's basically:

• Flash over the network
• Bruteforce scan for channels with the correct symbol rate
• Install cam bundles from Gemini (or your own server)
• Restore a backed up keys directory

I pseudo-tutorial that shows how the Gemini Project images work (again targetted at users of the DM500), although not 100% applicable as the guy is in Australia and is using CCcam, is available on YouTube:
