DM500 Device always corrupted

Hi all, I downloaded the file and flash it. It works well. After 2 or 3 days, the device fails again. Like the file corrupted and the device cannot start-up the program. Any advise to resolve the problem. Thank you.

Looks like your flash chip not able to hold the image anymore. I guess u must be turning off the power to the dreambox at night. One way to reduce the problem is to leave it on standby (red light) when not using instead of switching off the power. Might help with the image drop problem. Permanent solution is to replace the flash chip. U can try asking other experts here like Master Jatrophaseed how to do it.

Replacing the flash chip is not cost effective. Might as well get a new set.
