          Can you ftp into it?
Also when using dreamup connect the ethernet cable as well as the null modem cable & tick the network button.

are you using a laptop and usb converter? sometimes they give a bit of driver trouble. or try another version of dreamup.

Not come across who has had to jtag their dm600. Are you using a null modem and not an RS232 cable and the latest dreamup?
