DM800 Error Message: No DATA on Transponder

Hi Guys,

I have tried many weeks trying to troubleshoot my DM800 HD PVR dreambox to no avail. I have tried flashing using DreamboxUK_v2.1_DM800-ssl84-sim+2.01 image and FTP using SGSH Bouquet 06062013 E2 800 & 800. Carrying out these step were smooth.

Problem: Upon selecting desired channel it shows No Data on transponder (Timeout reading PAT)

Can any kind soul please advice me how to solve this problem ? Is there a step that i may have miss out ? I'm really lost now and have no idea where when wrong.

Thanks for you reply,Yes. These are the places that i have downloaded the flash image & Bouquet for my DM800 HD PVR and have followed the instructions given. Can you advice me if i may have miss a critical step that resulted in my error message even after i have flashed & FTP my device given your experience ?

Which image are u using? Try to do a full scan and see if u can see the fta channels.

you sure your box is working when you first got it?

This kind of issue normally

1) Tuner is faulty or not sitting properly
2) Your home is not activated with SH (Try other friend place)

I had used this --> Image to flash my device and this--> Bouquet to update my device.

Do you mind directing me to any thread advising on how to do a full scan to see fta channels ?

My device was working fine when i first got my setbox when it just suddenly everything went haywire not knowing what was the cause behind it.

How can i check if my tuner is sitting properly and touch wood if it become faulty will i be able to find this component in sim lim tower ?
but never the less i will also try my device out at my friend;s place.



P/s: Another question is that i realise that the time shown on my device oled is not sync to our sg timing is this negligible or will it cause disruption to my channels as well ?

you cant use that image to flash unless you know how to configure for SG use
Its better you reflash with the correct firmware

What u flash is not sg configured image so u wil need to set it up from scratch. The step which u have transfer the bouquet is correct and did u get to see the fta channels? U may also need to install softcam. Easiest way is find sg configured image for yr box.
