I have no ider mate give up with it kids are p***ing me off had no tv for 3 weeks so its back to a freeview keeps telling me no channels found

hi mick I do have it pluged to my router but that's as fair I got with it I have give up now

you need a coaxial feed to scan for channels,but the problem will be to decrypt them,by other means that we cant talk about,dont know if box is too old now as more in hd which that box may not if its a sd box,as long as you have a live feed a box like kryptview 780 maybe only option .

for your own piece of mind its the main coaxial feed before the router you scan on otherwise known as main feed which is then split into 2 via a y splitter one to router and other to coaxial feed on box,box should also have a lan connection to router.

am thinking of reflashing it this week and starting all over agen with it and go from ther to see if that helps me as I got the box second hand and I cant get my head round the setings the last owner had on it

if you think you will get all the channels working free like pre n3 you are wrong,it will be the same idea as sat and the bit we cant talk about due to rules.

As Stated even when you re-flash and do a Scan you will only pick up the FTA channels.

As long as I get FTA channels am ok from ther am ok I no how to set the rest up but at the min am not even getting FTA

you would probably only get bbc1,bbc2,itv1,ch4,ch5 nothing more
