Hi,
installed the latest Enigma image, installed the cables.xml from here, installed the "fix for noobs" into /var/scee and copied over the k*ys (from another rapidfile download found here) to /var/keys, did a brute force scan and it found 300 odd channels. Then went to S*y Sp*rts 1 held info button for 3 seconds and restarted the softcam (from the menu) and rebooted box.
Then deleted the contents of k*ylist.txt file and tried s*y sp*rts again, file not updated.
All the scr*mbled channels are l*cked but also some of the freeview ones are. How do I fix this?
In the menu there is an option for softcam but I don't know what settings to use or indeed if I need to use it. Any help you can offer would be appreciated
THe softcam settings are
Channel: Sky Sports News : Default
Provider : nopig_56A : Default
Default softcam : --None --
Cardserver -- None--
Auto reconnect and can handle two servcies are ticked.
Is that right?
Whats the differnce between softcam and evocam? Do I need evocam? Confused now!
I'm pretty close and just need a tiny bit of help with the last bit.
TIA!
