    cable tv in cz

    hi guys my wife is from the czech republic and she was wants to know if she brought her parents a db500c will it work over there.if so what image would be best?

      well the dk image would be fine i guess, it dpends on the encryption used in cz on what else you would need to install etc... it may be best to track down a czech c@tv forum that has the info and the required files that need to go onto the image to clear their channels etc.. However her parents may need a czech language image and there may be an issue of who goes and updates it when the cz tv provider plays with keyrolls etc...

          I would say that you are better off going for the satellite box dm500s and 1m dish. it is probably much harder to configure but owrth it in the end.
