Not sure whether this has been mentioned before, if it has, please delete.
Its rumoured that tthe Irish rollout has turn out to be more expensive than they had first thought and they are going to roll back to the N1 encryption in the next few weeks.
It seems like a waste of money myself, but if its true, it might reflect on the UK proposed rollout later this year(?).

Lets hope its true, so I get the channels back in.

Nah,, that would be nuts,,,,

they no longer even have the 1800 in stream now on most prem channels
If if was costing more than planned they would just stay on nagra2 longer before the upgrade to n3.

Does anyone know if the dreambox 500c works for N** in Waterford or ch**us in cork. Just got a new one and its the first time that I'm attempting to alter the software myself so lookin for info before I go at it and quite possibly destroy it!!

No,mine's not working in Ireland at the moment on nthell,hopefully there'll be a fix soon.

well a little birdie told me a while ago that testin on mmds wasnt
goin to plan, so there will be some delays on that side even tho
they have told some of their "employees" dat all would be in
place on nag3 for the new footie season..... I seriously doubt it

no m8 they can handle n2 alright cos my sat dream does with Cccam
but on cable and mmds its a differant story, on n1 we use evocamd, newcamd etc but on n2 the Hypercam team are
leadin the way

Chorus has not been affected yet by any upgrades mate, N1 stream is still active and its only N1 that dreambox can handle at the moment.
Hypercam is used on ItGate's and is not compatible with dreambox.
Itgate, Kryptview and Starview 4 (cable tuners)are only boxes that can handle N2 stream at the moment, at least you would have option of changing to one of these boxes if they cut off the N1 stream, but on mmds -terrestrial tuners are used so we would be definitly in the shxt!
