Question about DM800 SE Vs MVHD800C-VI

I have recently tested the MVHD800C-VI

    *********
    Notice a few dis-advantage
    1) It has to be turned on in order to record, when on standby it is unable to turn on.

    2) After scheduled recording, it will turn to auto standby mode. E.g, when I scheduled a recording, say 8am t0 9am and 11am to 12pm on the same day, it will record till 9am, and will turn to standby mode. Until I switch it on again, it will not record 11am to 12 pm (Any setting that I can change)

    3) Finally, it will work with thumb drive, when I used external HDD say 1TB the recording will be poor and some slowness when playback.

Therefore, I am considering DM800 SE
    *********

    My question is
    1) My guess is internal HDD is faster than USB so problem 3. will be solved (Am I right)

    2) When I scheduled a recording, will it turn off after scheduled recording ends? If so, can it record during standby mode?

    3) Why is it so much more exp than MVHD800C-VI, almost 3X the price

    4) Harder to configure? I notice than the Dreambox software is more complex (Use computer to update channel, plug-in, etc). Therefore harder to manage and configure compared to MVHD?

    Thanks for your comments.

      Both are totally diff box.
Dreambox is highly customisable but many hassle of setting it up because you need to be knowledgeable about each and every function.
MV800, FY800, HDC888.. whatever name you call it, its actually a FYHD box in disguise. (These box are meant for newbies and those lazy to explore. Its a plug and play box. Nothing much to configure)

I have no problem setting up multiple recording on my DM800 SE as long as box is on standby mode.
It can even set to weekly rocording setting as long as you have enough space in your harddisk
