DM800 cable autoscan & manual scan failed

Hi I'm a newbie & would really appreciate some help on getting my DM800 up running. I brought a DM800 sat version & then replaced the sat tuner with a cable ver.

Each time I try the autoscan or manual scan it fails to detect anything.

What I have tried so far:

1.Tuner A: Philips CU1216MK3 (DVE Enabled
Configuration mode enabled
User service scan type frequency bands
All options below this set to yes
Scan additional SR 0000
Scan additional SR 0000

Auto Scan:
Clear before scan Yes
Scan Tuner A (DVB-C)

Trying to find used tranponders in cable network... please wait..

2. Manual Scan:
Tuner A: Philips CU1216MK3 (DVB-C)

3. Manual Scan:

Error: Scan done! 0 Services found!

I have tried to input my area symbole rate as 06952 (as i'm not sure if it is possible to put it in as 6.952. However, I have noted that after I perform a manual scan this sets back to 06900. Am I doing something wrong here? I have tried the above on both the PLi Enigma2 Jade2 & NibiloBlackhole 010 but with out any luck.

I am having exactly the same problem with this HD 800 but i have also tried blackhole 2

hi i can scan for channels manually. these are my settings..

type of scan = single transponder
Frequency = 571
inversion = on
symbol rate = 6887
modulation = 64 qam
fec = auto
network scan = yes

your symbol rate may be different to mine.

Im new to forums and just getting to grips with the thread situation so please bear with me. I have just done a scan using bruteforce and i have found 340 services problem is how do i transfer them into a channel list?

this is the boring part you have to add them to boquets manually by either using the remote or by using software like dreamboxEdit or similar...

the easies way is to do the following on the remote...

Menu --> Setup --> Service organising --> Add services to bouquet...

then you will need to choose all the services and then add the to the already existing Bouquet name....

E.g select all the sports channels by scrolling thru all the channels you have and then add them to the "SPORTS" Bouquet...

thanks but im running nabloblack hole and i dont seem to have service organising on my setup menu. I figured out how to drag the programs off the list 1 by 1 but only free to view are coming through, i know i dragged the roms and keys into the VAR/KEYS and VAR/SCEE folders how come they dont work, im telepest. or shall i just give up and through the damn thing out the window ps my box is a dm800 hd never had another dreambox to compare it to so it my have slightly different setup than older models
