Which dreambox should i get?

hi everyone , a newbie here=)

would like to ask if you guys here have any recommendations/opinions . I am interested to buy a new dreambox but still dont know which to get.

previously owned a dm 900cII , but recently box began to give me some problems, with images starting to flickering which i think should be the hardware problem. so i decided to get a new dreambox.

some friend recommend the Dm 800 c (clone ) which is cheaper but i am still considering it. what would you guys recommend ??

just bought the dm800.. how do i go about setting up? any kind souls can help . pm me also can=)

what cables do i need too? (normal ethernet cable can ?)

what is the FIRST step once you have the box?? plug in and play or need do some dreambox edit thingy or flash image first ??

Hi new here and not sure how to start a new thread or where to look for help regarding dreamboxes. I don't currently have one but thinking about getting one. Can anybody recommend which one to go for. Also this question may be pointless as i've only just discovered that this is a uk forum? I'm with Eircom broadband and wondering (if there's any Irish people here) if you can access the dreambox through Eircom. Not really big into technology so not sure how all that works! I know Eircom came down pretty hard with illegal downloading a few years ago so my main concern is if i get a dreambox, will Eircom block me from using it? Thanks for any help and sorry if i've posted anything that isn't allowed to be discussed on here
