How do I backup my current image in DM800HD and create a nfi file?

I tried going into TSpanel but get the error "not mounted". I searched the forum and googled but cant seem to find the ans. andy kind bros pls help me, thanks!

btw, mine is a dm800 clone from china. do i select sim201 or dreambox multimedia at the backup page?

You need a thumbdrive to connect to usb. Go to TS PANEL, look DEVICE MANAGER , press RED button to DISMOUNT & RED button again to MOUNT. Select No.1 as MAIN HDD & exit. Then you need to go to TS PANEL again to ADDON, under TUNISAT look for DFLASH PLUGIN. Once you manage to install Dflash, go to SYSTEM - SETUP - FLASHING & BACKUP, follow prompt & you are good to go. Wait for around 5 to 8 min. Once completed, you have to ftp the NFI FILE from your USB to PC to backup your FULL IMAGE.

i'm running dm800hd se, is it ? same backup method as per ur advice? My unmount & mount is blue instead of red button. & i didnt know how to proceed cos i can't find 'No 1 as main HDD'. Appreciate advice pls. Sorry, really newbie here.

Update your TSPanel to the latest 7.2 and the mount/dismount button will be red colour.

i updated panel 7.2 as per ur advice! Thanks alot. Red button indeed. :-)

I addon Dflash V3.3. When i try back up following ur guide, i got error message:
'ur dreambox encounter software problem and needs to be restarted'

Really embarassed can't even get simple backup right. What have i done wrong?

Try using ths TsPanel 7.2 to browse for SIM2 Addons and update yr dFlash plugin to a later version like say ver 8.x or 9.x

instead of sim2 addons, maybe try tunisat addons or sat4fun addons

Update1: If you have problems downloading from the carious Addons pages in Tspanel, you mayy need to search for the right version dflash ipk file on other sites and manually update it via USB or something

U can also use yr current tspanel 7.2 to backup yr flash image. Mount yr usb and select the correct path for the backup.

I don't quite get what u mean but the nfi image created by these 2 plugin can be used to flash back to yr box. U can also use barry allen for backing up image.

what i meant is if i created a NFI backup file from say dflash, can i use this to flash back using the TSpanel (Flash Image) tool.
and vice versa.
