370Mhz PRoblem?

Hi all ,


do you face any problem accessing like HD5 , HBO HD or HBO Hits HD?

Have tried rescan but sometime worse cannot get channel...if get channel either distorted or missing totally

i have another black HD800c but no problem on the signal

problem one white FY-888

Its probably a marginal signal at that frequency. Things like loss and noise are very frequency dependant so its quite possible for you to suffer a 'notch' effect whereby the level you see at the equipment for that frequency is somewhat lower than other frequencies. It may also be that the actual transponder is transmitting a lower signal level.

The fact one box see's a signal whilst the other doesn't isn't really indicative of a fault - merely that one tuner is slightly more sensitive than the other. Generally sensitivity of individual tuners can vary by as much as 1-2%, even within the same batch.
