my box seems to be workimg fine.it just i am unable to connect to the internet .error "unable to resolve host name"
ip settings- o.k
ip addreee.-ok
gateway.-o.k
dns address- o.k

what image have you got on box as theres only 2 reasons why it would say that.

1) the image doesnt have a addon server or it is down

2)the internet settings are wrong which is the problem 99% of the time

I am using DW image.network is fine.

Not familiar with the DW and DK images but in the network settings you need to enter your ISP's dns server ip address into the section where it says nameserver to be able to connect to the internet.

the easiest way is to enable DHCP in communication setup, then restart modem, router and dreambox and let it assign its own network settings

If you enter the dns server of the router that will be the same as the gateway address. I would say that the dreambox's internet connection won't be able to find its out of the router without the ISP's DNS server address.
