replacement remote required

hi

i came accross this site looking for a replacement remote because mines broken

DreamBox 500C, DM500C, Dreambox DM 500-c,DM500-C

but i know ABSOLUTELTY NOTHING the company (i bought my remote from here DVBMonkey.com - Dreambox 500C, Dreambox 500S, Dreambox 7020 Dreambox 600S, Dreambox 600C (Powered by CubeCart)) but i only ordered it yesterday so i know nothing about them yet either!!

so i'd get some opinions on them 1st dunno if this helps?

Hi dehowletts the remotes for the 500c are rubbish I am on my third one they just fail, I have opened one up to see if anything can be repaired without luck, i paid 9 quid off ebay from china downside had to wait a week for delivery so I am now tempted to buy another to keep as a spare because the tv was awfful for the week without one thanks for the info though

No worries but BTW if it dies in the mean time you can still use the box if it's connected to PC cos you can use the 'virtual remote' that's how i've been managing without 1.......
