Pls help! Im using dm800hd pvr..cant seems to auto scan channel to get bpl chn.

Hmm.. Tried the manual scanning option and realize the open PLI image doesn't allow me to input decimals. Any idea how to get around this? Different image? Or somehow changing the units so I can input say 129500 instead of the regular 129? The box keeps on hanging whenever I'm at the faulty channels. Most frustrating.

u can't input .50 in maunal scan
only auto scan will get it

what u need is load bouquet using dbedit
how ? then check this thread link and read

Ah...great. Cos I input it in DBedit but it still doesn't work. The channel details still says 129Mhz, for example. And I see a fuzzy neither here not there kind of picture. I guess it's low signal huh? Hope a new cable might fix this.

Dbedit will not show .50 even u use auto scan by dreambox then back up and load to dbedit

it was posted by master125 before use ur dreambox to check freq info by menu then click information

doesn't matter is a clone or original it will work and if yours are not even a dm clone i don't think it will load in at all

Ooh. My version of DBedit does, actually. The one by YASSINOV. I could input 129500 (edited master 125's bouquet). But no use also la, send to box, it shows 129. Just don't know if it's really ready 129 or 129.5. Hmmm

then just use dreambox to find out freq see isit the one you edit anyway i haven't use yassinov ver before hehe

That's the thing lor. I input 129.5 in DBedit but when I go to channel details it says 129? Right now just dunno if it's a firmware issue and whether the box is really reading 129.5 but states 129 there. It just can't work lor. Poor picture. AHhaa.. those frequency 150 channels at the end are perfectly fine. Fat lot of good that does lulz. Manually change it to 130 in the box and then tune fails.

i just download the ver u say the edit work fine
it show correct but i have not yet load in to dreambox
i will load in after 6:30pm when my Co going out

Yo! Little update here. The box at my place, on OpenPLI image, couldn't load 226 to 231. Fuzzy, blur picture. I used Set 1 from master 125.

HOWEVER, another box, at friend's place running newnigma2 and almost identical to my box (bought almost same time), could work perfectly using Set 1. Nice 90 plus% signal. So I have to conclude is poor signal problem. Will change to newnigma2 and update again. Maybe that firmware works better. What a pity cos OpenPLI is so much faster.

At least I have a better idea now.
