At least I have a better idea now.
Cabling might be the cause of poor signals. Change ur cables or open up the main wall point and check for any loose connect. U may want to unscrew and screw back the joint/connections. Cheers
BTW what cable are u using ? The black original one?

Using some generic cable that's never given me problems. As for cabling sigh. The person who did it for my house did a crap job and now I have to live with it

Well that could explain for the poor signal that u are getting. But then I may be wrong. U really need to troubleshoot/narrow down the poor signals u are getting.

Could try this bouquet and see if the ch226-228 is still fuzzy.

Used to the old version and never change to the latest. Some tuner are not sensitive enough with the newer frequency on sr6090.

                    Hi Y'all,
Ok I like to share with you all on my experiences.... I am using OpenPLi image and have set 8 channels on 136, 150, 129 frequencies and initially, got channels 101-103 fuzzy and 1/5 of screen appearing only with sporadic audio...pretty bad, but my other channels ie. 104-108 was perfect - and that was in my bedroom, while in my living room, I had all channels perfect...! After many attempts at trying out all kinds of resolutions eg. new better cables, new splitters placed at end of cable, at the SCV point connection outside of my flat, splitters at 2500MHz, and also finally tried a signal booster too - all failed miserably, and that was up to the 14th. Then suddenly, come 15th, when I rechecked the channels in the bedroom - all was perfectly fine! So I reckon it was due to perhaps SH boosting up their broadcasting signal quality???
                    Cheers!

                      Hi master ypvs125,

                      Here's my experience.

First, on openPLI, Ch 226 - 231 were unwatchable. 1/8 screen, fuzzy, caused box to hang for Set 1. For Set 2, I got 'Tune failed' for Ch 226 - 231. Ch 232 and 233 were fine for both sets.

Then I went to my friend's house and his box was on newnigma (same box, same seller, bought a few weeks apart). Set 1 worked perfect for all!

So I came home and changed to the same version of newnigma, but got roughly the same problem as OpenPLI, 1/8 picture etc.

Turns out it was all a contact problem, thanks to bro ZM00061 for the tip! And soo.. newnigma worked fine for me on Set 1, signal went up from 73% to about 89% - 93% on Set 1.

                      -----

BUT, i preferred OpenPLI so I switched back (and also to experiment further). AND..here's the interesting bit.

For OpenPLI, Set 1 doesn't work that well. Ch 226 - 228 were fine, but 229 - 231 got 'Tune failed'.

So, I tried your third set, the one you released on 16 Aug, and that worked perfect with my OpenPLI!

                      So THANK YOU!

Conclusion from my end: Newnigma, use Set 1; OpenPLI, use 16 AUG bouquet

I hope other bros out there can learn from my experience!

                        Oh yes, to add,

I tried master uu161's bouquet too on newnigma and for some reason, it couldn't work at all. Couldn't even start. Was forever 'booting'. Don't know why?

Tried to add master uu161's picons too, but though I FTPed in, they didn't show up. Wonder if I got the folder wrong. Hmmmmm....

I can watch b*** p*** l*** since the season started.

However, suddenly it just become blank (black screen and no sound). i can still find it when doing the the scan and in the channel list.

                          Anyone knows why?

                          Thanks
