Hello everyone, this is sorta my first few maiden post here so if there's anything wrong that I've posted/asked please go easy on me
Here's the thing, I thought this thread was sort of relevant to me and was very excited when I saw this thread. But was massively disappointed when all channels did not work. Was thinking whether it could be my set since most sets discussed for FYHD over here are the black coloured ones. Attached is the set I am referring to, the white one:

It reads FYHD HDC-800-III so I thought should be a close enough match. When I went into the menu, this is what I saw:
              Menu.jpg
Didn't have the install function so I thought channel search should be what I should be looking at. And when I got in, this is what I saw:
              Main_Scan.jpg
I should choose Manual Search but everytime I chose that, I get routed to the Auto Search page. Since that was my only choice, I key in the relevant data:
              Scan_Frequency_1.jpgScan_Frequency_2.jpg
I chose both Frequency 135 and 136 (I understand that the real frequency is 135.5 but since I cant do decimals, these were my only viable options). Each time, i left it to scan, waiting for the quality bar to be filled but it doesn't move at all. Even when I go confirm, they cant find anything. The following is the firmware details:
              Name: HDC-800-2
              Model: HD-FTA-AVS+DVB-C
              SW Version: HDC800 V1.4 TNDT
              HW Version: HDC800 V2.0
              SW Version Time: 2012-8-3

              Screenshot:
              FW.jpg

I know this is a pretty long post but I guess it will be good if all info are laid bare so hopefully some brother out there can help.

Thank you in advance to all!

Sorry I do not know this box well. Like I said, it is a friend's. Playing around, I managed to get the needed channels. I do not know what firmware it is running on.
