    DM800 DM800SE: SIM 2.01 vs A8P??

    Anyone tried flashing the Dreambox DM800HDse with the newer SIM card A8P instead of the usual 2.01?

    Any field report on the use?

    I am still scouring the net for the pros and cons of the newer SIM cards.
    Preliminary finding pointing to its restriction of the switchable IP for CS functionalities.
    Not a concrete finding.. still learning more..

    Any contribution?

          thnaks yr info, hv not tried yet, will test it asa i get an 800se.

                      the A8P sim allows to flash to original firmware.. thats good!

                          I am expecting mine to arrive on Thursday, any recommendations for good image to flash? and do I need to flash boot loader at all (before or after)
