MVHD800C-VI Picture freezes then sometimes box hangs

Hi everyone,

am currently using a MVHD800C-VI.

The picture at times freezes and sometimes the box hangs completely especially when I watch Channel 5 (channel 155).

i am using the hdmi cable provided in the box to hook up to my tv.

can someone please help to explain this behavior?

Another thing, I saw that my box has an option to go into you~~~~ but the box asks for a password.

does anyone know this password and can we really watch you~~~~ from the box?

This is most likely a signal issue
Try cleaning the Incoming SH connectors (Box mounted on your wall) with alcohol based cleaning solution
Then put it back and see how

Some forum members even use a toothbrush to brush away the dirt around the connectors

Signal issue try to use a better cable? Or clean the connector.

Hi..im also on mvhd 800c vi. My box frequently hangs and now completely cant view channels. I tried autosearch but failed. I tried reset factory settings also cant work. Can somebody help. I checked my box is on version 1.1. Anybody?
