    BEEPEEL on DM500-CIV

Hi guys! i am new in this forum. Understand that the only non HD set up box can view BEEPEEL channels is the DM500C.

Can this cardless box do the same too?

I saw that behind this box has a RS232 port and a telnet link. Is there any flashing i can do to get those channels and view it on the PC like a DM500C.

    Thanks in adv

I have read the above thread and i am not sure if it applies the same to DM500CIV since both are differenet models. You see behind this box there is no ethernet port only TELNET and RS232. And i am unsure how this conencts to the router.

I tried connecting the TELINK port to the router and went to the homepage of the router to try finding the IP and the results yield nothing. Not sure how the above can link can help me

To conclude i am not sure about the wiring connection of a TELNET to anything else. My objective is to get BEEPEEL channels on this DM500CIV

You need a RJ45 Internet port to connect to your router.

TS is talking about DM500-CIV which is totally different in make and design from DM500C.
You cannot use DreamUp or DreamboxEdit with DM500-CIV.

Alright. Guess is time to say good bye to this box. Can someone recommend a good replacement. Probably one that doesn't need that much flashing and can last me a couple of years, at least till the end of beepeel

Recommend and with guarantee last for years would be signing up with hubber.

I won't guarantee to last for years if SH change the encoder chip to N3 if the dates are right which is Oct 15 this year hor. Pls read it on another section.

Should someone be buying this month of so should wait for the actual implementation date from SH if that's true
