DM800 A very unlucky guy... pls help me.

Hi all,

i have been reading hard and trying to understand more about dream box.
I just dont know why i cant install mytube plugin in my box.
recently i m ready and brave enough to flash my DM800HD for other new image with mytube due to my kids love to watch youtube cartoon clips. "for my convenient without connecting laptop"
I did backup everything in my computer but my PC just crashed during the progress and unable to boot up.
now my dream box having error and unable to boot up too.

My kids and wife blamming on me
any kind soul can please help me? very stressed when home.

You definitely need a computer to flash over the firmware to the box. If you need a quick fix, you might need to get someone you know to backup their own firmware (which includes the magic files) and then upload it over to your box. Unless you have the time and explorative mindset, you can try all the available firmware but remember to backup your magic files (which is keys and scce folders). I had a terrible event and I don't think someone else should suffer here. There are alot of kind members here who can assist here but do read the sticky notes so that you would not be banned for duplicating posts. Hope that helps. Cheers

you should never flash your dm800hd until you have a good backup of the original image. Pls read these 2 sticky

Oh my Memphis78, that is not good. So far I have not come across but it would be bad to earn that extra bucks which should I say "One time business deal" and I won't want to buy or to get any related services from that person if he charges while I'm getting free from members who are willing to lend a helping hands to resolve one's issue! ..
