    MVHD HD800C-VI Problem?

    Hey guys,

I've just bought the MVHD HD800C-VI and am quite pleased with it. However, when I view the mIo BPL matches, there's like an out of sync between the video and audio. It's like the audio's coming a second too early and it feels a little unnatural to watch. Was wondering if a firmware upgrade would solve the problem?

Where do I download the update? Also, I've tried messing around to have it connected to my Wireless Router but I kinda got lost. Would love if someone could help me out on this!

    Thanks in advance!

not advisible to update the firmware... as it could potentially bricked your set...
delete all and rescan again.. see if it helps

      Hello, thanks for the response!

What do you mean by 'bricked'? I found that there's a factory reset setting, surely, I could use that to 'reboot' the set if the firmware update fails?

Also, when you said "delete all and rescan again", does it mean that I'd reset to factory settings and rescan again?

go to menu. first icon, there is a delete all channel function. press. then go to settings, do a factory reset. then back to menu page, do an auto search again. do not upgrade software as the mvhd 800c-vi has the latest software installed. unless its the mvhd 800c-v. just my 2 cents. not an expert but got to know all this after own exploration. hope it .helps. or if still cant, try cleaning the contact point of wall outlet. still same?? but a signal booster. my booster worked out quite well. its a box with a tuning screw head.

FYI BRICKED: when the updates goes wrong and refuse to boot properly, you will have a MVHD paperweight.
