DM500 Setting up questions...

When you receive a brand new/fresh out the box system and you flash the DK1.1 image on it.. does this then mean it's running enigma? - or is this something completely different?.. I just wondered as whilst I've been browsing here I've noticed that skins are available for the DM500c - but I'm not too clear on what is compatible with what yet??

yes mate dk 1.1 is an emigma based image.

the other type of image in neutrino but 99% of dreambox images are enigma based

that's what I thought! .. I just wanted to be 100% though.. so any skins for an enigma image on the DM500 should be compatible then..

Krazylegz, is there any particular reason why 99% of images used are enigma images?

Reason i ask is cos i'm using a neutrino image on a 500c that works ok but wonder if i'm missing out on a better one!
