Hi Donnie,

I am also interested in how to add Sky Box Office in an ex C&W area.
I've seen tutorials about adding it via a manual scan for ex ntl and ex tw but never for ex c&w.

Are you saying I just navigate to the Live Events channel on the day of the event and it will work??

Yes just find the channel,normally 24hrs before, the channel will be rolling ads for the event.

Yeah i get that on the "Live Events" channel, but like steveecourt i get the SBO channel without having to do a scan for it, only found it by flicking through channels because it comes up as "Service removed" even though the channel is there.

Hey guys,

It's called Sky Sports Live Events Channel IIRC. Not at my dreambox atm so I can't check. But it DEFINATELY begins with the string "Sky Sports". You can add it manually by editing the bouqet file. There was a tutorial on a different site I used a while back. I have it bookmarked but the forums got shut down Hopefully someone here has a copy of that info for ya!

if u just do a scan when the fight starts and look in last scanned it will there l would think . thats how the eurovox and replay do it

Firstly thanks for everyone's advice.

Unfortunately for me though I was not able to watch the fight last weekend!

I located the Live Events channel and this only showed an advertisement for the fight.

So I did a scan when the fight started and found a new channel called live events channel 3 (or something very similar).

However this channel did not decode. It just stayed a blank screen. Gutted!!

Do I have to add Box Office in a a special way (like adult channels)? If so does anyone know the relevant info for ExCW Manchester area?

A rough guide!!

Hi Guys, here's a guide I posted a while ago on another forum.

This is to add all the missing softcore cr*p! - Box office below.

THIS WILL ONLY WORK for 6952 CABLE AREAS.

add a new bouquet called ADULT or similar.

best to reboot your box once this has been added.

ftp to your box and locate the bouquet file which corresponds to the one you just added. should look like userbouquet.dbe08.tv you can open these with Wordpad to view which is Which.

ok, with the bouquet ADULT open in Wordpad paste the following lines in.

Once you have added these in to the file save it and ftp it back to your box.
Power down your box or use dreambox edit to reload the settings.

Select the bouquet ADULT and view any of the channels and you should get pictures.

Create a new bouquet called PPV.

enter the following as above but obviously in the PPV bouquet file instead.

#SERVICE: 1:0:1:7c:65:f020:0:0:0:0:
#DESCRIPTION: box office Sports PPV


Remember this is for 6952 areas again!!
