DM500 Best Place To Buy Your Dreambox?!

Hello All. First i'd like to thank all the people involved in this site

I thought i would open a thread on the best place to buy dreambox's from.

Obviously the 2 main factors are price and reliabilty both on the product and supplier. So if you have any bargains to share or any trusted sellers you wanna share pls do.

Also feel free to rant about any bad suppliers which is equally as important (if not more) state any bad experiances you may have.

Also tips on shipping and saving on VAT and Shipping would be great. i plan to buy 10 very soon so it would help me and no doubt many others. Thanks all.

Best price i got so far was from http://www.drea****shop.com/

    email is sales@drea****shop.com

he said 10 dreamboxes d500c including packaging and posting would be $USD650 or $600 thru western union. I would rather pay through paypal anyway as western union is notorious for scams. At least through paypal i would be protected through the dispute console.

    What do u lot reckon?

Anyone Getting Better Prices Or Been Stung By Someone?

    Let us Know!!!!

    Thank You

Does that include postage and packaging. The guy i was on about said postage and packing included for $650. i bought a single box off the one your one about and they seem fine for one box. They even put it as a sample with value under $20 on the invoice so customs never charged me tax, duty and vat.

There bulk prices seemed a bit steep when the shipping is added on though.

But thanks for sharing the link regarding the spare parts.

Chainreact... Payapl does not cover you fully in disputes for items purchased outside of eBay..

PayPal Buyer Protection offers full protection to buyers who pay for their eBay purchases using PayPal.
The PayPal Buyer Complaint Policy applies only to items that are not received and which are purchased outside eBay. Claims regarding the quality of goods received are not applicable.
you could be sent empty boxes and you wouldnt get a penny back

ok, i had a inkling that was the case and thanks for confirming it to me. I may just buy it on a credit card and at least have section 75 of the consumer protection act on my side. problem is i don;t own a credit card so will have to find someone. Cheers for letting me know about that anyway.

i bought mine from them and after a week i recieved a faulty one. contacted them several times and no reply...... opened a dispute in paypal and after few days escalated to a compensation. paypal closed the case without paying me a penny. they dont care if you bought an item out of ebay. so on all costs avoid dvbmonkey.

Seems to be still there on the site...

I'm about ready to buy a DM500-C, linuxsat.eu seems to be a little more expensive but if is reliable then I'll go for it.

So, is it linxsat.eu or dvbseller.com?

                            Any opinions greatly appreciated!
