how to use dreambox 500c in Thailand
Hi guys, Anyone have any clue about software that will make my dreambox work in Thailand, here for a year and need a little tv to watch other than Thai, cheers in advance.

Well I'm in the north of the country and have just been presented with a DM500-S to see if I can get it going. Still at an early stage trying to get the s/w (DCC296.zip) to work with it, but the answer to your question depends what dishes you're prepared to put up. If you can see IS19 at 166E and AS-3S at 105.5E on C-band, then you'd have quite a reasonable selection of international FTA stuff, and there are plenty of packages with english speaking channels spread across the skies in this region on other birds. Dunno enough about the s/w side yet, but I'm working on it.
