mvhd 800c-vi problem

hey guys im having problems with my setup box. Recently when i switched on my setup box , it doesnt show anything on the tv . previously it would show at least a space-like image with no signal floating around. but now it is just a black screen. Can anybody help me by telling me if its the box that is spoilt or its supposed to be like that until they decode the channels then the space like image will reappear.
Btw the box can still be turned off and on with the remote and has an indication of LOAD and ON.

Erm not sure. Around September or late August. Starting it was able to work. I am able to watch all or most of the channels after scanning. But recently when I switched it on, it doesn't show any startup picture , it's just black screen. And when I'm not using it , I usually off it

Tried but to no avail. I asked the person about it. Then they say they are decoding because recently starhub recode their encryption . But I don't get it why there's not even a picture when loading. Even before I can watch the channels , there's normally a startup screen (space like picture) . Do u think my unit is spoilt?

Wat a good excuse to use "SH recode their encryption".

FYI only the BeePL is fully on N3 (new encryption) while the rest is still old & new encryption therefore you should be able to watch all other channels except the BeePL. I could be wrong as I'm not in town but think I'm right b'cos if all channels are down, this forum will sure be flooded & not only you reporting.

Actually its the set problem ask them for the address in china to troubleshoot or replace for a new one..theres no such thing regards SH recode and this box cant be watch.
Except for BPL like what SGDVB had said.If that the case tell them that you have another same box bought from a diff seller n it seems to be working just fine..hope this help..

And one thing you have to pay for the shipping fee and wait for the replacement nearly a month depend on the seller...shipping fee approx. 20 to 30 sgd..have a nice day ahead!!!

Thanks guys for your input!! I think I know what's the problem already. I think the hdmi port on the box is spoilt cause I am able to watch using the aux cable. But the aux cable quite suck. Sian. This box is given to my mother from her friend. Don't know if can change anot
