    DM500C stuck at upload completed, waiting for acknowledge sceen

    Hi all, I tried flashing my DM500C but I cannot proceed. It is stuck at the following in dreamup..tried different version of dreamup..still the same..how to proceed?

    try a different power supply mate once its 12v 1-2 amp your fine

      Sorry I am very new to this..what do you mean by different power supply? How do I do it?

        the power adapter might be faulty usually the one from a modem ie broadband modem will work they are usually 12v 1 amp same as dreambox

        i was stuck on a box like that for ages turned out to be the power supply fault

              What do you suggest I do? If change, these parts can be bought in SG? I also don't know how to change

                Are u using the usb adapter? Find a computer with com port to do the flashing as the usb adapter is not that reliable.

                    Have u try changing yr ac adapter? If still problem, got to do with flash chip. Is yr box able to boot up?

                      My adapter read 12V 2A...My box cannot on/off other than remove power source...basically cannot do anything...anyone willing to meet up with me to help me take a look?

                        First of all... Have you previously backup your previous version of your workable box? If not how about the softcam (scce + keys)?

                        Reason of asking is that you will needs a working image or the softcam to setup the box later otherwise you will not be able to use the box even if you flash sucessfully.
